ZoneFirst Zone Dampers

A zone damper is the mechanical part of the zoning system that "opens" and "closes" the duct and allows air flow when the zone thermostat and zone board tells it to do so.  ZoneFirst RDS round dampers have a 24 Vac motor that powers the damper closed, and a spring return system that opens the damper.  This concept allows for the dampers to open in the event of a loss of power in a zone.
